Terms of service
Please read these terms before submitting an inquiry or entering a paid engagement.
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of originpath.digital and to paid programming consulting services offered by OriginPath Software Consulting Co., Ltd. (UBN 47868164, representative Yu-Ting Wang). Separate written statements of work govern project fees, deliverables, and timelines once you accept a proposal.
Website use
You may browse this site for business information. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe systems without permission, or misuse the contact form. Content is provided for general information and is not a binding offer until we sign a statement of work.
Services
We provide project-based software engineering, technical reviews, and implementation support focused on backend APIs. Outcomes depend on your inputs, environments, and team participation; we do not guarantee specific revenue or uptime unless explicitly stated in a signed contract.
Fees and payment
Fees are quoted per engagement. Unless a signed contract says otherwise, invoices are due within fourteen days. Late payments may pause work. Taxes follow applicable Taiwan rules.
Intellectual property
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, you own deliverables created specifically for you once paid in full. We retain rights to pre-existing tools, templates, and know-how. Open-source components remain under their licenses.
Confidentiality
Both parties will treat non-public technical information shared during an engagement as confidential, except where disclosure is required by law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for website use is limited to direct damages caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence. Caps and exclusions for paid work are set in each statement of work.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan. Courts in Taipei City have jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer rules provide otherwise.
